Delivery Information

When you sign up, we’ll ask for your delivery consents and preferences. Please note that fridge items and controlled drugs always require a signature upon delivery, as they cannot be left in a safe place or letterbox. If you’ve selected ‘no’ for both safe place and letterbox delivery, your package will need a signature upon delivery.

Letterbox Delivery:

If you opt for letterbox delivery:

Whenever possible, we’ll pack your medication to fit through a letterbox. However, if this isn’t feasible, your delivery can be left in your designated safe place. If you haven’t specified a safe place, you’ll need to be present to sign for the delivery. If there are children, pets, or others at risk on your property, we recommend considering an alternative delivery address.

If you choose not to opt for letterbox delivery:

Consider letterbox delivery if your property permits; otherwise, someone will need to sign for your delivery. If you’re unavailable during delivery, a card will be left with details on arranging re-delivery. You can either collect your parcel via Royal Mail or schedule a free re-delivery with Royal Mail. If a local driver attempts delivery and you’re not home, contact the pharmacy for free re-delivery at your convenience.

Safe Place:

When specifying a safe place for our delivery representative to leave your package, you’ll have the opportunity to make a selection.

If you choose to designate a safe place:
Ensure your chosen location aligns with our safe place criteria listed further down this page.

If you’ve opted for letterbox delivery, your designated safe place will only be utilized if the package is too large for your letterbox. In instances where both a safe place and letterbox delivery are declined, or if your order contains controlled drugs or refrigerated items, your delivery will require a signature.

We recommend considering the designation of a safe place in case your parcel exceeds the letterbox size. Should you be unavailable and have not specified a safe place, a card will be left with instructions on arranging re-delivery. You can either collect your parcel or schedule a free re-delivery with Royal Mail. For local driver deliveries, please contact the pharmacy for free re-delivery at your convenience.

Your safe place should be secure, weatherproof, easily accessible, and out of sight. For example, leaving it with a trusted neighbour, at a reception desk at your home or workplace or finally at an alternative address.

There are instances where we cannot leave items in a safe place, such as when it’s unsafe for us to access the location, exposure to bad weather, or if the location is clearly insecure. Items requiring a signature or age verification cannot be left in a safe place. Fridge items and controlled drugs always require a signature upon delivery.

Failed Delivery Process:

For failed deliveries, Royal Mail will return the item to the delivery depot. You’ll receive a card with details on arranging redelivery. Re-delivery can be arranged for free with Royal Mail or via the pharmacy for local driver deliveries.

Changing Preferences or Consents:

Keep us informed of any address changes or preference updates. You can update your delivery preferences or consent at any time by contacting us via email, phone, or mail.
